Meet Gerhard
Gerhard Linner has been guiding in Costa Rica since 1995. In more than 30 years he has led hikers, cyclists, birders, photographers, students, families and older travelers across the country and throughout the Americas.
He has also directed endurance races, including the Costa Rica 200, a coast-to-coast ultra trail race, and served as Regional Director for Latin America at Spartan Race, running events of up to nearly 6,000 athletes. For ten years he worked as a fixer and location manager for international film and TV, on productions such as Naked and Afraid and for networks including Discovery, National Geographic and Netflix.
An athlete for more than 35 years, he has represented Costa Rica at two World Championships. He speaks English and Spanish.
